This committee strives to put special emphasis on making club members aware of the arts:music, dance, art, theater, crafts, writing, and personal expression.  The committee encourages the club women and the community to support the arts.  It will also provide varied opportunities that encourage the fellowship and friendship of the club members.


Past Social Activities


On Thursday, December 14th, our Holiday luncheon was held at Listrak. Listrak provided a fabulous luncheon that included butternut squash soup, salad, baked ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, fruit tray, and rolls. Our members provided the drinks and desserts. The tables were beautifully decorated by the committee members. It was a fun holiday event !! Thank you to all of you that helped!!!

Our December 2022 social was a tour of Wheatland by Geri Kull, one of our club members. A beautifully decorated house for Christmas that was the residence of President Buchanan. Thank you Geri for a fabulous tour!!!

We had an Amish dinner at King’s Farm on Oct. 4, 2022. It was an excellent meal of mashed potatoes, chicken, meatloaf, corn, green beans, applesauce, chow chow, rolls and apple butter and her delicious pumpkin and apple pies plus a chocolate cake. What an unbelievable experience.

Eleven members attended the Kreider Dairy Farm tour and lunch on Saturday March 14th, 2020. We all learned a lot about the farm, including the fact that Kreider Farms is 1500 acres and the third largest farm in PA!!

We saw a newborn calf and one trying to be delivered. Lunch at The Cat's Meow was delicious and everyone had a good time.

Mah Jongg tournament was held at the General Sutter Inn on Sept. 27, 2018 and was a fundraiser for our scholarships.

We enjoyed the delicious meal, as well as the Christmas decorations held at the Stockyard Inn on Jan. 25, 2018.

A holiday luncheon was at Teri Forster’s house in December 2017. Teri decorates her tables beautifully and each one is unique. The ladies always look forward to this festivity.
